MISSION STATEMENT
The Canton Professional Educators' Association initiates and supports positive changes in the public school system, promotes the educational profession, and actively serves as an advocate for its members.



 
Our History

The CPEA was established in 1959. It began as a representative of both teachers and administrators. Today, CPEA represents 731 classroom teachers, psychologists, guidance counselors, specialists, nurses, tutors, pre-school teachers, librarians and special substitutes.

Our Philosophy

CPEA members are dedicated to children and public education. Our association is commmitted to working in partnership with parents, community leaders and elected officials to help Canton’s students and improve public education and the quality of teaching and learning.
